Graduation Project: Desert Research Centre
Egypt's’ land is composed mostly of sand ( 97% of is a desert), which has many potentials in so many ways.
The desert could be developed in terms of agriculture, animal desert life restoration, economically towards a community ( aim of desert research institute, Egypt), or by other means by using the actual soil in medical uses, or using it to extract minerals or make products using certain components in the sand, etc.
My aim in this project is to research the Desert Geology and how I can develop it or make use from it.
The process of this will be the following, either to develop the desert in terms of agriculture, and if that is not possible ( the soil is not suitable for agriculture or it is not possible for water to reach this land plot, or to do so is too expensive), I carry on testing and researches to figure out in what ways might this type of soil be useful to make products from.
