Folding Utopia: crash course in paper architecture

The Workshop ‘Folding Utopia - A crash course in paper megastructures’ was taking place at Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design www.ravb.nl/ December 13 – 14th.

Many thanks to Jeroen Visschers, Alenka Milward, Dennis + edgar and participating students.

Participating students are coming from Interieuropleiding Willem de Kooning Academie & Minor Architectuur Bouwkunde, Haagse Hogeschool.

For two days the students were asked to build a megastructure development between Heijplaat to Nieuw-Mathenesse in Rotterdam. Students were working in four groups, when each group investigated a different structural typology.

The work made with 1500 A4 Collective Paper Aesthetics building blocks
