Kurt Schwitters Merz Box - Package design for artist Kurt Schwitters and a book compilation of some of his work. As a pioneer in collage art, Kurt Schwitters used found materials and traditional materials to create unique and controversial paintings. "Merz" was his developed theory on art-making. The concept behind this package is to fill the box with found objects over time, and eventually create your own Merz art-work. The box is silk screened and custom designed. The book was printed locally at Minuteman Press.
