Rock The Heights design
Rock The Heights-Rock on the Range - This is based off a Rock on the Range poster. For the starburst at the top I created a shape and duplicated it, then made them in that shape. Step & repeat would work well for this. I then just added a gradient of black and red. On the white button it has a bevel and emboss effect to make it look like a real button. The image at the top is just a trace of some people I found on the interweb. I think it worked well...
Rock the Heights-Own design - For the title I made a gradient on the 'the' to make it look different and I replaced the 'i' with a microphone vector I had. The button has a bevel and emboss as well as a drop shadow to give a real live effect. The band writing and larger writing at the bottom I used subtract with the pathfinder so that it looks like it was cut throught the black or something. I think it makes a nice effect. The image is a live trace I made in illustrator. And the background is a baking tray I found.
Rock the Heights-Psychadelic - I randomly made the background in illustrator using a brush tool and nifty colours. The image is a complementing colour of the background. The rest mostly has to do with font technics.
