Inspired by the masterful work of Oji Masanori, we designed a wooden tray that invites objects to rest on it with an understated beauty and elegance.
By developing custom cutter, we created a divided tray with a very efficient cut path saving shop time and labor costs. The profile was obsessed over to find the architecture of the tray that could work across a variety of shapes and sizes.
After exploring many forms, we settled on two practical trays, each with a center dividing ridge.
