Stanley Kubrick - This poster was created of out a prompt to map Stanley Kubricks influences on culture and Influences on him. I chose to direct my attention to my love of architecture, furniture and minimalism and found a common thread among some of themes through the writings of Nietsche.
Jan Tschichold - Poster designed to introduce typographer Jan Tschichold. Through designing this poster i wanted to convey Tschichold’s design aesthetic and philoshphy which is outlined in his book Die Neue Typographie. The poster is simple and to the point. For Tschichold it was the idea of conveying information clearly while still attracting
the viewer’s attention. The use of a sans serif font, bold color and asymmetry achieved this allowing me to give the viewer an idea of who Tschichold is.
