"Tawny owl in the Night Sky" is part of a Tawny Owl themed series of digital paintings. I enjoy experimenting with colour within my illustration, which often leads to a colour pallet that strays slightly from realism. Using the sketching brushes in Procreate, I layer these colours to give the artwork a textured finish. This layering technique, used throughout the primary elements of my illustration, offers a coherent finish.
