Hoover Street 2016 - Los Angeles
New construction of a 4-Story residential building; consist of subterranean parking podium supported by shoring and lagging perimeter retaining wall and 3- Story condominium above with 3 schematic floor plans catering to accessibility per unit per floor, also includes a Roof Deck, Photovoltaic, and multiple LID planters.
The concept is transparency, light, and ventilation; thin wood siding and perforated metal panels used to wrap the building to ensure privacy but also openness, cross ventilation, and maximum windows for natural sunlight. Our execution created a layer throughout the building, providing privacy in various moments shear from the public view while enabling a translucent experience.
