Drill Press Vice Assembly created in Solidworks and rendered using Photoview 360.
Full manufacturers instructions for the creation of a drill press vice created in Solidworks.
The base for the Drill Press Vice was a reasonably complicated piece due to the detail required for all tapped holes and blind extruded cuts.
A simple BOM with labels for all parts, materials, and quantities.
While hardware can typically be found in the Solidworks "Toolbox," our professor wanted us to created all hardware required in order to prepare us for special hardware creation designed for specific products.
The rounded edges and tapped holes on three sides forced this piece to require an additional detail drawing for manufacturing purposes.
