Flow: House on a Hill

This project involved using the concept of flow to construct a single family home in Canyon Lake, Texas. Like many house seekers the residents wanted the usual
amenities such as roomy bedrooms, a dream kitchen and open concept floor
plans. The house sits on the hill over looking the lake and is designed as if it is
cascading downhill like a stream or river would. Light, air and circulation effortlessly move from one part of the house to another. The concept of flow was also
illustrated in a directional aspect as public and private spaces ran perpendicular
of each other.
