The Mag Holster is a pistol holster designed for use by police and military personnel. The goal of the project was to design a completely new and innovative accessory that would allow users to draw their firearm faster, safer and more efficient than existing products. With an activation point placed in the natural path of the users hand it is a very natural working product. When activated the pistol is released and reversed magnets push the front slider down, opening the front of the holster allowing for a forward draw for faster target acquisition. The canter adjustment mechanism is held together with magnets and inter-locking teeth for a fast yet extremely strong lock. Due to its carbon fiber/kevlar body with aluminum mechanisms it is remarkably light and superbly strong with the slider up. With the slider down it allows the holster to have a slight flexibility to allow the pistol to release and re holster smoothly.
