I, along Gunnar Bergmann architect, worked on a proposal for the first mosque in Iceland to be built in Reykjavik. The connection to Icelandic nature was a guiding force as well as preserving the traditions of a mosque and muslim rituals. Sustainable ventilation factors were implemented with consideration to dominant wind directions.
