Small Site for Computer Graphics: Publishing Class (2013)
University of Baltimore, CMAT 211: Computer Graphics: Publishing
In this course, students learned the basics of today’s industry-standard publishing software. Students worked in-depth with both Adobe InDesign CS6 and Adobe Dreamweaver CS6."
This class is typically the first class that students in the Digital Communications major take, and is a foundation exposing the student to software and design principles.
While this is not a coding class, as there is a more in depth class further in the program, students are encouraged to review the code as they work through their projects in Dreamweaver.
This project is created mid-way through the Dreamweaver portion of the class. Students are expected to demonstrate creating sites with working links, adding text and images with considerations for design of the site, as well as uploading to a remote server.
