Point, Line, Plane (2017)

This multipart project, students began with taking investigative pictures of their surroundings for inspiration, they were encouraged to review angles and vanishing point. The second part of the project the students sketched these angles and elements, reduced them to basic elements, then moved them into a digital form. Many students were uncomfortable in this reductive thinking as they had not thought visually in this manor, but then were surprised with this outcome. This project was the main project in learning Illustrator, and dovetailed well with shape and pen tool fundamentals.
