Dance through human history has always been related to joy, play and love, despite there are many styles, for me Flamenco is the art of seduction, moreover is represented by a woman performing beautiful moves according to the music that enhance the moment with hypnotizing effect.
I wanted to bring this iconic figure into a everyday object in a simple and abstract way by doing some analogies; The product made from polycarbonate or ABS, allow you to “dress-up” easy and simple your light-bulb to impact the space with the lampshades and color, and so on creating your own personal atmosphere.
This project was made because Alessi called designers to join in a brief related to "Love" and its multiple expressions. Another of my objectives despite the brief, was to bring an accesory that could complement the line of lights designed by Frederic Gooris for the project AlessiLux, nonetheless it's also build thinking on the general light bulb to reach a wider market.
