Business Strategy- Intel Exchange

The Intel Exchange business model differentiates itself from the current IP brokerage firm’s process because its position to solve the pain points associated with high costs and complicated procedures that usually discourage talented individuals and small groups from progressing forward with new products and ideas. Normally research and development happens in a highly funded innovation incubator where, often times, salaried employees are paid to generate ideas. Although these systems are in place, it often isn’t where the magic happens. Groundbreaking ideas can happen in any form but by limiting them to these incubators is greatly limiting the progress of new technology and invention. This validates why it’s valuable to create a space for these ideas to gain traction. Instead of retaining a massive amount of profits we carefully budget our revenues so that we can subsidize the ideas that we believe will make the world a more interesting place.
