My task for this assignment was to design a sidewalk 'oasis' - a pleasant or peaceful area in the midst of a difficult, troubled, or hectic place or situation.
In this situation, we were designing for an urban setting. I wanted to keep simple forms to create shaded seating for people as they wait to catch the bus or just a place to rest.
