Electro-Mechanical fixture Designed for testing circuit board programing. Completed boards assemblies had to function 100% as they were controlling explosives. Once a part was place in the fixture a button would be pushed to verify start, a servo controlled arm pushes the assembly into place as pogo probes interface with circuits. A program checks the readings and Pass/Fail status is determined. Failed parts are locked out and require pw keyed into the computer (not shown)
Simple fixture to test a critical resistor on a circuit board. The board was used as a trigger mechanism for explosives so inspection was listed at 100%, This fixture allows for quick install, check, and removal of the board as to not slow production during the process.
Machine and fixture Designed to test with two critical internal components on a mechanical part during operation. For safety the part was shielded by a pneumatically operated cover while the part rotated. Optical Lasers checked for function of internal leavers during operation. A pneumatic solenoid fires a short burst of air to reset the mechanism.
