I volunteered to design and build a recipe card tree and weekly flyer stand for my store. I made them from reclaimed shipping pallets to keep with the style of decor already in the store.
The flyer piece had a custom piece of Sintra to use as a chalk substrate.
I painted some old aisle blades to use as calendar strips on the left side. The entire piece is on casters so it is easy to move if necessary.
The reverse side of the flyer holder. This side is designated for calling out seasonal produce.

Endcap chalkboard holders. This is the pile of wood I reused from an old produce display bin destined for the dumpster.

Endcap chalkboard holders. Heavy duty brackets made the boards sturdy enough to stand independently and not fall over.
Endcap chalkboard holders. Custom cut Sintra sheets were used for the hanging chalkboards. The boards hang on large bolts to make changing them out quick and easy.
Finished board on the shelf highlighting the product.

Whole Foods Market Display Fixtures

My Marketing Team Leader challenged me to use my design and construction skills to build several fixtures for our store in keeping with Whole Foods Market brand standards. I was able to reuse many materials already in the store that were destined for the dumpster, saving money and embodying the Whole Foods Green Mission. All the pieces received high praise from Regional leadership.
