'47 Archive Program
We set out to create a collection of unique product inspired by authentic sports history and archived materials. We went to different schools, spoke with the athletic directors, dug throw the museums, libraries, stacks, and trophy cases. We documented or findings; patches, buttons, yearbooks, programs, newspaper clippings, jerseys, varsity jackets, etc. We sorted through our findings, recreated images that we found and created new ones inspired by our research. Finally we put together collections of product that was totally unique to each school, authentic to their respective histories, and unearthed and restored logos, wordmarks, and graphics that had long been forgotten.
