PETMAN
PETMAN is the world’s first anthropomorphic fully articulated self-balancing humanoid robot. Measurement Technology Northwest is a partner in the PETMAN program and responsible for the development of human physiology. This includes simulating blood flow, controlling skin temperature and sweat rate. In addition to skin development, MTNW is responsible for the rubber joint sleeves that allow joint articulation with up to 3 degrees of freedom. In 2010 and 2011 I worked together with MTNW on the PETMAN program.
