Union Scarf
This was an entry in the Philadelphia Union season ticket holder scarf competition. I won the competition with another design, but the front office of the organization allowed me to have these made for my own pleasure. It all started with a quick pen sketch trying to emulate some flash. From there it was input into the computer and recreated pixel by pixel allowing for the distortion of the knitting machines (pixels are square, stitches are elongated). The final result is what you can see here. The manufacturer called the most difficult scarf he's ever knitted, but since then I've pushed him even further.
