Material qualities - This was a 2nd year project, the brief being to design a home telephone with a strong visual identity. I decided to work with materials that would improve with age in contrast to disposable plastic mobile phones. The chosen materials are warm and comfortable to use during lengthy phone calls, and the sleek yet subtle styling should not date easily in most living spaces.
