BMW Ghost sports bike is a concept design study of what our next generation motorcycle should look like. It is actually inspired by the concept 6. This bike uses the long forgotten six-cylinder engine with totally new and different design approach. Brand-new 1600cc engine that’s four inches narrower than any previous production six is covered with a unique and highly complex body. The design itself came from a delicate research of one particular animal – snowy owl.
Delicate and highly complex pieces combined together create a stylized image of this unique animal.
BMW Ghost Sports Bike project was developed mainly to express strong desire to innovations and new design languages, which is why it carries the logo of BMW – one of few brands that are very open to look forward, to innovate and stand out from the others.
