Expo Streetchair 2004 - Created through a year long project, the Expo Streetchair incorporates the majority of my skills in design from inital market research to conceptual visualisation, CAD modelling and model making.
Its aim was to act as a hybrid to bridge the gap between standard NHS chair and Sport chair, the Expo streetchair integrates key technological advances across various fields to provide a younger, more dynamic active chair. Not only is it cost effective and stylish, Expo also offers all the adjustment and comfort of current upper market chairs with the built in option to further personalise for even greater comfort.
Having been registered with the Patent office, I am now seeking interest to get public testing of the Expo through the creation of a working prototype.
Expo disassembled - The Expo streetchair offers key adjustability factors which include seat angle adjustment, wheel placement adjustment, footrest adjustment and chamber adjustment. This added to the ease of portability makes the chair easy to clean, maintain and customise for full user satisfaction.
