Conference Room Perspective - The perspective emphasizes the use of natural light and plant life throughout the design to provide a pleasant working environment.
Presentation Board - The design of the presentation board highlighted three rings that were interconnected. These three rings that are evident in the floor plan were developed through a dual concept based on Photosynthesis and the Triple Bottom Line Theory. Photosynthesis reflects the sustainable aspect of light, water, and air while Triple Bottom Line targets the credit unions goals for the people, planet and profit.
Site Plan - The ariel view provides glimpse of how the building was renovated to be sustainable and reflect the concept. South facing photovoltaic panels were utilized to capture energy, skylights were added to bring in natural light, remaining roof space was transformed into a green roof and vegetation was used to minimize solar heat gain.
Building Analysis - Each diagram depicts a different study in which contributed to the project outcome.
Floor Plan - The project's specific program and the floor plans circular forms made for a challenging space planning, but a successful outcome.
RCP - The RCP reflects the and emphasizes the credit union's design with destinctive skylights and arbors.
Southwest Section - The section depicts how clearstory windows were utilized in the central area above the conference room which has plant life growing above. A green roof, which can be seen, was utilized for its sustainable properties.
Northwest Section - The section provides a good general overview of spaces created within each ring. It also depicts the how the ceilings were designed to create dynamic and interesting spaces.
Detail - The detail illustrates the numerous sustainable applications used and how they are structurally supported in the design of the credit union. The details of the raised floor, green roof, and photovoltaics provide an understanding and knowledge of construction and sustainable design.
Power Plan - Both illustrate the meticulous thought necessary to having a successful design.
Public Lobby Perspective - The perspective shows the main lobby designed with a partial glass wall to provide community investors a sense of belonging and involvement.
