Feet wash basin - relax and safety 1 - Foot washing is a common bathroom activity, however currently available methods of foot washing can be uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous for older people,people who are overweight and those who have a restricted mobility. To date existing items, similar in function, do not provide a satisfactory solution. I aimed to enable people from a wide age range to safely and comfortably engage in foot washing, relaxing soaking and eventually hydro-massage.
Feet wash basin - relax and safety 2 - The basin's design eliminates the danger of slipping or falling which exists whilst using a bath or hand wash basin for feet washing. Its use requires less effort such for older people. The basin reduces water usage as it is not necessary to wet the whole body, as takes place during taking a bath or shower. The basin is constructed of acrylic resin with anti-slip elements. Water is drained through a floor outlet.
