Top view rendering of a K750i - Rhino has been used to produce this model of a mobile phone. The brief for the project was to choose an object and replicate it exactly in the CAD program. As such, this model was the first created using this program. This was an interesting project as it helped enhance attention to detail, which is a transferable skill that would benefit any design project. The satisfaction of this project came from making sure that no details were overlooked, no matter how small.
Underside view rendering of a K750i - This rendering shows the underside view of the phone model. Many new skills were learned during this project, including manipulation of curves and surfaces, and also more in-depth capabilities, such as projecting and embossing text. Completing this project was an effective way to learn the operational procedure of the program.
