Rendering of tablet dispenser design - Research for this project included interviewing a Parkinson's sufferer to discover what areas of life they find difficult. It emerged that it can be hard to coordinate, manipulate small objects and apply pressure, amongst other things that many take for granted. It was felt a tablet dispenser would improve the lives of sufferers in the most effective way. The medication bottles are emptied into the dispenser and the palm sized button on the top allows a tablet to be dispensed, as required.
Example of colours available - Providing colour choice is important with regards to domestic products, as customers will be more inclined to purchase a product if it more closely matches their home colour scheme. This image shows an example of the colour options available. Different colours can easily be produced due to the Polypropylene structure, and the fact that it can be readily pigmented.
