Val's Hand: for a commission by a private collector. I was accused of doing this piece from a hand-casting, which wasn't true. As I recall, Auguste Rodin was accused of doing the same for his "John the Baptist" sculpture. I wasn't sure if I should be offended or flattered when accused of not doing this from sight only. BTW: it was done from sight only, and NOT from a hand casting.
