Lock for a toilet cubicle door - Snapfit reverse engineering and design.
During normal operation, the door is locked simply by moving the slider to the right. However, in the event of an emergency, a force of +200N will cause the prongs to deflect (by 6mm) without damage to the lock.
This lock is especially useful in pubs or clubs where staff may need to provide emergency assistance to someone in the toilets.
