While at Furnitubes International Ltd. in London, England I designed and produced this sleek new ash waste bin. The Ashby is made from bent sheet metal, which makes it much more affordable than most bins on the market in England. This open view of the bin reveals the striking red liner, which is easily removed for dumping ash. The Ashby is currently extinguishing butts and keeping the streets clean in Piccadilly Circus, and some of the other busiest parts of London.
Closed view of the Ashby. A simply bent sheet metal tab, fastened with pop-rivets to the back of the bin, allows the Ashby to be easily mounted to any post with standard metal fasteners.
