Floors octagonal Saltillo tile with painted Talavera tile dots; coordinating fireplace. Antiqued walls. Window coverings/textiles central Asian influence combined with owners' antiques/carpets.

FAMILY ROOM Painting + Lighting + Framed Tile Art - San Diego area family room/kitchen with desert mountain 270 degree views, more modern western feel. Woven leather sofas, geometric carpet + stone table with dried stems, antiqued + slate fireplace surround, owners' peacock, iron animals wall hangings and desert painting. I designed the custom lamps and framed paper Mediterranean tile wall art to echo dots in the slate floor, and painted the frameless fireplace piece "Nevada Storm".

BRIDAL STAIR Tile Motif + Lighting - San Diego area Spanish hacienda new construction with Mexican, Spanish, Moroccan, Turkish flair. Bridal stair in Mexican style of four-motif repeating riser Talavera tile pattern in colors coordinating with owners' carpets/collections. Central Asian gourd dolls + Thai theatre puppets along stair. Moroccan chandelier.

MASTER BATH Tile Floor Carpet + Finishes - San Diego Moroccan master bath, with hand-painted antiqued Italian ceramic + glass + honed floor tile designed into "carpet" and as mirror trims, leading into Moroccan-themed master bedroom with traditional tile stenciling. Tile "carpet" was designed and premeasured down to 1/4 inch.

KITCHEN Cabinetry + Appliances + Table + Lighting - Specified new antiqued Euro cabinets, granite counters/backsplash, tile-etched chandelier, Viking/SubZero, dining table/chairs. Designed Mexican paper "tile" framed art roomwide, place settings.

FRONT LANDSCAPE Mediterranean Meets Desert - New cut-and-filled home pad at bottom of street cul-de-sac designed to incorporate found mountain boulders to define new front entry tiled stair off driveway. Hardscape undulating/meandering to maximize discovery interest, create "outdoor rooms" and reduce/eliminate original bowl-shaped pad impact. Plantings selected per fire department drought tolerance. Specimen succulents and palms, regional deciduous/evergreens. Fiery flowering palette. Talavera tile/ceramic outdoor pot accents.

OUTDOOR ENTERTAINING Kitchen + Pool Area - New home pad with 180 degree views of mountains/golf course. Outdoor dining/kitchen area with Viking appliances, swirled concrete prep/dining curved countertops to accommodate terrain. Painted Talavera tiled herb garden. Poolside seating, black bottom pool with waterfall+spa, all plantings and boulder placements.
