Structure and Balance
The assignment was to create a free standing from that tested the boundaries of balance while being structurally stable. The constraint was to use one 2D shape, from it into a 3D form and then repeat and distort it to create unity.

Teapot
The assignment asked us to take an already existing form and create a piece out of reed and tissue paper to depict movement and direction inspired by the initial item. I was inspired by a boiling teapot, and the convection path the heat traveled in the water and in the pot itself.

Litter Lamp
With the overwhelming supply of plastic bags in my home and the underwhelming funds in my wallet, I decided to use plastic bags as my main material for this lighting project. I used mainly red bags, and played with overlapping layers of the plastic to create shadows, and diffuse different amounts of light.
