“Speak Up, Speak Out!” is about
bringing an important social commentary
into fashion garments
through the choice of silhouettes
and use of prints in a casual
jacket. The social issue that i
choose to highlight is the human
factors that causes the destruction
of our environment namely
wastage. What I would like to bring
to light is that wherever we
humans tread on, we will cause certain
impact to the natural earth. I
will attempt to show our diminishing
world and man-made versus natural
through my use of print and materials.
As trash is the most simple
and straightforward representation
of man-made wastage, it is also my
starting point.
