The initial idea behind this project was to design a dispenser that would be able to pour a predetermined amount of salt or sugar.
I concentrated on the idea making something that was user friendly and took thinking out of the process. I also sought out to make cooking into a science again. I also looked at "Needs" that people seem to ignore in the United States. People in the U.S. don't seem to realize how unhealthy they really are and how they need to keep track of their high blood pressure, hypertension and diabetes. I wanted to make Revolve a reminder that they user was doing something that was beneficial to their own health and well being.
My final result was a modern design that connected well with the design and color of other kitchen appliances.
