Rear quarter view showing new side rear and underneath intakes, the fines provide the directional outlet from the new internal cooling system... ...FEATURED ON TV ITV4 "THE MOTORBIKE SHOW" 13-07-16...
Side view that shows the cutting lines and contrasting red-black-silver that define the bikes unique look. It had to be deservedly different from the rest...
Now for the real thing, my first view of the finished item with emotions at the forefront I met with the man who made it all possible and without would never have been... Brian Crighton... I was glad to see he was as happy and relieved as I was...
Feeling proud with my name on the bike and still in the moment it didn’t take me long to see that the design work I had done worked, the colour stood out and made the impression I said I would do three years previously (easier said than done). This was all done over the internet and phone with Brian and I’m still amazed it worked out the way it did. The CR 700P stood purposeful, elegant, and sexy plus it looked like no other...What more could I wish for...
From the other side... Here you see it being prepared for its maiden and biggest test around the track piloted by ex- British Super Bike champion, World Super Bike winner and Eurosport presenter Jamie Whitham, now wouldn’t be the time to not start or break down. Why would I have any doubts when the best rotary engineer I think there ever will be had anything to do with it. Always nervous moments though...
Ready and waiting, the view from the rear like the rest of the bike just like my illustrations, the unique slatted air cooling system with the inter-cooler underneath. Defiantly different and distinguished it was important that the CR 700P stood out from all angles...
The rider view, if you have time to look when it's moving. 135kg and 200bhp this nimble missile literally flew down the track overtaking everything, the noise of the 11,000rpm rotary dawn chorus at full throttle was an experience of a life time. I spoke to Jamie Whitham afterwards and he couldn’t believe the performance and admitted “it was ridiculously fast”. It looks and goes amazing...Job Done! THANK YOU Brian Crighton for the chance of a life time, and make history...
NOW SEE IT FLY... with Jamie Whitham (British Super Bike champion and World Super Bike Rider) on board...
Brian Crighton the genius behind the winning rotary engined motorcycle after leaving Norton put together this lighter, faster, bigger 700cc and more powerful 200bhp version yet.. I was given the honour of contributing towards the design by making it look different in a gorgeous Red-Black and Silver paint scheme. The day of the launch made the time of putting together this very unique project all worthwhile and something I can never thank Brian enough for, he gave me the chance to shine and see it through from idea to concept and ready for production. I would love to see a road version...
Thank You to Brian Crighton for the wonderful opportunity to work on something so special. The waiting was worth it, and I just had to sit and pose on it that fantastic day we finally saw it finished.

CRIGHTON CR 700P

Firstly I wish whole heartedly to thank rotary guru and brilliant engineer BRIAN CRIGHTON for presenting me my biggest and most elite challenge to date I have undertaken. Brian Crighton worked tirelessly to produce this latest and most powerful rotary yet. From the beginning my brief was simple, keep it RED with Alternative looks; I felt the need to include it to be as good looking with or without sponsorship logos. Under “Crighton Racing” the now CR 700P has grow from 558cc now to a staggering 200bhp mark. The CR 700P compactness & light 135kg weight the power/weight ratio provides both tractability and usability in its new superior performance.
Multiple Superbike Champion-TV presenter/motorcycle racing commentator Jamie Whitham rides it Mallory Park on 12-13-14 of July 2013. More to follow.
Once again I thank Brian Crighton and all involved with this project for presenting me this chance to work on this exceptional and prestigious project & allowing me to lend my continued support.
