How to Catch a Cricket: Photos from Accordion Book - (Complementary to Crickit Educational Exhibit project)

Smaller pictures were shown on one side of the book to show the journey of the main character on her search for a cricket. Larger pictures were shown as spreads on the opposite side of the book to show where the character looked for crickets, as a hint to middle schoolers where they might be able to find a cricket on their own.

The goal of the project was to select a song that evokes a particular feeling, or has a specific message, and to express the mood or message through a photographic narrative. I chose a song, called "Anti Matter," by N.E.R.D., and chose to present a story about the inevitable nervous, awkward, yet overly-confident expressions of pre-teens in their natural surroundings.
