This was my final website design that I completed in CMST 386 Principles of Web Design and Technology II in December 2015. It was titled JapanGuide and I created it just for that purpose, to be a guide so that anyone who plans to visit Japan can use to find out about things to do during the different seasons and how to get around. This page is the "home" page and entirely HTML5 and CSS3. It displays how to create a gradient background using CSS3 and not images, you can see this in the body, header title, footer and navigational buttons. It displays how to align images in the text. All the images used were personally taken by me and optimized for web use. The bottom image looks faded and once the mouse rolls over it, it is displayed full color and is a hyper-link to the Tokyo Disneyland's official website. It also displays the use of the "site search" capability.
