This was a Magazine Cover project for my CMST 310 Fundamentals of Electronic Publishing completed in March 2016. The goal in this class was to use InDesign to create electronic publications for various media formats following fundamental design principles. I created this magazine cover and named it “VIP Streetz” for anyone that’s into cars. I made it appeal to many types of car lovers because I have the VIP type as the main cover photo, but shows interest to the drifters, street racers or dragsters, the Nissan owners that just want to add a little horsepower and the cover reaches out to the car show crowds. I felt it’s best to touch a broad audience in this case being a magazine to boost sells. I learned InDesign well, setting margins, bleed and content layout. I also got to try out new fonts.
