The Nashville Food Project is a Non-profit group in the Nashville Area that provides over 2400 hot meals per month in the Nashville area to under served homeless and working poor communities. After working on several projects together in the past they approached me about creating a series of illustrations for the "How We Make A Meal" portion of their website. We decided to go with watercolors to match the feeling of their existing website. I also used their house "hand written" typeface that was custom made using a staff members (beautiful!) handwriting. It had been a while since I really spent much time using water colors but I dug in and it turned out to be a lot of fun. I couldn't be happier with the results, and neither could they. In the end they also decided to have a 24X36" poster printed, as well, to take to events with them. Here's to an excellent collaboration!
