Only Aprica (Japan) is designed using a deep understanding of a Baby’s development to help Mom best nurture Baby.
Akachan Honpo (Japan) presented Aprica with an ultimatum – develop an innovative and new to world technology or lose baby sling shelf space. The rub: the entire program had to be designed from the ground-up in 8-months.
I facilitated ideation sessions in product and design development with Brand Marketing, Industrial Design, Fashion and Softgoods Design. (In Tokyo, Osaka, Kalamazoo and Exton, PA.)
Traveled to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan to scan the competitive marketplace for opportunities.
I co-directed the pack design and contributed to the finalization of the concept with the help of a world-class team.
