This project was modeled after traditional vaginal pessaries which have been used for decades by gynecologists to aid women in controlling urinary incontinence. The modification provided was an innovative design utilizing a tampon like applicator, with collapsible pessary, which would ideally be accessible OTC (over the counter), making successful incontinence control more universally accessible.
