For this project I was approached by a company that want to offer the service of a web-based rough diamond pricing tool. It will be used by the governments of diamond producing nations, mining companies and individuals to ensure they get the right price for their product. The company will provide training to local people in its use. The service will also provide data capture, analysis and storage of sales figures and such like.

I initially approached this logo with a literal shape of a diamond, which was later changed to this version. I also included the use of a graph within the logo, to emphasise the fluctuating nature of the markets that diamonds can be found in.

Diamind wanted a modern, condensed font, and I chose the blue and grey colour theme, as this is the colour most associated with diamonds after white.
