KEATON for Fossil Watches
Merging the utilitarian vintage heritage of the Fossil Brand with a more versatile dressier styling. The Keaton emerged from looking at old wire lug styles that came out WWI when officers would have wrist watches that were essentially pocket watches with a wire welded on to hold the strap. Refining this design language into a case that could be worn in casual situations on a double pad strap and with a bracelet in more refined settings was the focus of this project.
Several case sizes as well as ladies versions were developed in samples, but ultimately a 43mm mens case was the one that went to market.
