A design project in collaboration with Oslo prison.
In this particular project, the producers / inmates been considered as the main user.
The assignment given from the prison was to design products that could be produced by inmates in oslo prison. When inmates have complex challenges and differing abilities and knowledge must be adapted to the tasks of different levels of users.
Visits in the workshops where inmates worked, including conversation with inmates and staff ensured insight into user needs.
