SHADES OF MITHIILA - A Collection of Tunics and Jackets for Srijani
A collection of tunics and jackets for SS-15', incorporating the traditional textile techniques of Bihar. The collection is a part of a collaboration with an NGO, Srijani, based in Patna, Bihar. The collection focuses on the up-liftment of the traditional craft Sujani embroidery in combination of hand-painted textile and crochet techniques and empowering the rural women of Patna and nearby villages.
