Katsuo - This is Katsuo. His fiery red hair is his signature and I was really quite terrified to have a character with such dark eyes but they turned out WAY better than I expected. He's a heavy chain smoker and in the story his Activation makes him telepathic and (nearly) immortal.
The Sweetness of Strawberries. - Sayuri and Katsuo. I love this picture and had fun drawing it. The scar on her back is called a "Split" and it occurs when people called "The Activated" have their powers activated. The more I draw Katsuo's eyes, the more I fall in love!
So we breathe up this black air - Sayuri and Katsuo. This is the first story where I've had a girl smoker, and I wondered what it would look like drawn. They're so cute together!
Sweet! - I've been doing a lot of profile work lately....And I realized that I haven't drawn a single picture of Sayuri facing forward. I know what I'm drawing next! On a side note, this picture is kind of funny because Katsuo is allergic to strawberries.
Sayuri - I realized that I had no pictures of her facing straight on so here it is. Sayuri is always has her life planned to a T and never falters from her routine, until she meets Katsuo that is. I completely love this picture, she is SO adorable and it turned out a lot better than I thought. My favorite picture so far.
