Dinner table designed for the IALD award winners. The studio lights were Off and designers had an intimate dinner experience which ended up very interactive. Everytime someone got their plates for a refill, a pool of light flashes up creating a movement on the table with light.

The skylights of this Indoor public space transforms into night time skylight imitating the daylight creating a floating ceiling illusion.
Wireless fixture designed to wear it on the back in times of crisis like earthquakes, wars etc. The fixture has a mechanism of dimming by simply rotating the surfaces.

Several tests are done in-house to finalize the ceiling design features depending on how lighting is going to be integrated. Lighting designers have to work in collaboration with the architect/interior designer right from the time concepts are being developed.
Memorial Lighting
Converting the worked-up studio Kitchen into a playful cooking/eating zone for students. Color when used with reasoning and keeping the context in forefront does make a huge difference. The kitchen was equipped with Red,Blue and green lights with dimmers associated with each fixture. The end user could play around with the dimmers and mix the colors to make some interesting color, light and shadow play.
