House of Souls- Final Project Outline

This is the layout for my final project for my Level Design class! It's a survival shooter, that uses things like keys to open pathways to get to constantly moving portals which allow the player to win. When doing this I thought back to some of my favorite games and the times I actually got locked out of a few different puzzles and couldn't go forward! (Ocarina of Time water temple, I'm looking at you...)
This is something that is really important to me, so when making the map I tried to sim all the ways a player could go through my map and not allow them to get stuck or unable to open any doors (or get them locked out of an area)! This meant specific placement of items, spawns and especially keys! I really love thinking about this and perhaps spent more time than I care to admit planning, tweaking and playing with different ideas. Time to combine all I've learned over the semesters!
